Bill and Pat's Excellent Adventure (Table Rock -- 2000)

May 27, 2000, Kimberling City, MO — In an epic battle, Bill Immekus and Pat Nellesen fought to a 9-9 tie here at beautiful Oak Hill Resort, on the shores of Table Rock Lake. Although Bill took an early lead on Saturday, going up 1-0, Pat pulled ahead with an amazing 6-1 day on Sunday, thanks to a hot Lucky 13, great weather, and the ability to somehow drop the lure practically on top of the fish. As the grueling 5 day event wore on, however, Bill managed to sneak a keeper in here and there until, on Wednesday morning, he managed to draw a point out of the match by catching the final keeper of the trip, appropriately enough directly in front of the resort. Had it not been for bad luck, Pat most likely would have won with a very nice fish that wrapped him around a log and got off on the last morning.

In the end, the big Bass went to Bill with a really nice 5 pound Largemouth, while big fish went to Pat with an estimated 7 pound Channel Catfish
